On Friday 8 November all the Riverhills School children rode the bus down to Pakuranga Plaza to take part in their annual Summer Festival. Here are Room 1 & 3 performing the Coconut Song from our end of year Cultural Kaleidoscope Celebration. The children from Mrs Lemi's class are 2 on the far right in the front row and 1 left of the middle. We think we are pretty clever remembering all the moves and look really cool in our costumes! What do you think of our dancing?
Welcome to the Phoenix Centre - a class for children with autism and other special needs. The children all work towards their individual goals with the help of the teacher and experienced teacher aides. The class size is small enough for children to benefit from daily one-on-one teacher time as well as group work. All children attend mainstream classes in the afternoons, where they join in with the regular classroom programme. Come and check out what we like to get up to at school!
